The Project Manager (PM) plays a critical role in assisting in the management of client projects, marketing and advertising for The Greenhouse Studio and Greenhouse Coworking. The PM supports the the Managing Director (MD), Sales and Finance Manager (SFM) and Creative Manager (CM) in taking steps to measure, enhance, and enrich the position and image of the Studio through various goals and objectives by developing, implementing and executing strategic business development and marketing plans for the Studio and its lines of business, products and brands in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones through relationship-building, quality outputs and excellent customer service.

The PM must have good verbal and written communication skills, creative problem-solving skills, presentation skills, organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a stressful environment, and possess a unique mix of experience and skillset who can manage the client relationships, contracts, procurement, logistics, marketing and events of a plethora of multidisciplinary projects across industries and sectors – development, commercial, building. We’re basically looking for a unicorn who understands the Asia-Pacific market, whose written, technical and verbal communications are stellar; with contracts, procurement and administration experience that are impressive; and client and project management skills that are beyond commendable.

Typical work activities

Tasks typically involve: 

Managing projects and client accounts

    • Helping to secure new business from existing clients which includes  developing project proposals and quotes
    • Meeting clients for briefings and present proposals to clients for approval
    • Negotiating time-scales and budgets
    • Researching clients’ products, services, plans, competitors and target markets
    • Liaising with the team, partners and suppliers for the timely submission of all project deliverables
    • Monitoring work progress and keeping in contact with clients at all stages
    • Responding to clients’ requests and managing communication between clients and design department 
    • Delivering final products for review which includes quality control 
    • Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
    • Keeping records and handling invoices

Assisting with the business development, marketing, advertising and promotions of The Greenhouse Studio

    • Preparing marketing strategies and preparing marketing reports alongside other Studio executives and staff
    • Analysing market trends and developing marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback
    • Developing and adhering to project budgets
    • Overseeing and developing of content for all digital media and the delivery of the Studio’s press releases, advertisements, portfolios, e-newsletters, website and other marketing materials and publications with the MD and CM
    • Gathering and analysing customer insight via a consistent feedback process thereby driving overall CRM and direct marketing
    • Deepening relationships with all media to ensure the most effective messaging and positioning of the Studio
    • Managing areas of content generation and production across all media platforms
    • Consulting with the team on product specifications such as design, color, and packaging.

Management and development of the projects department 

    • Overseeing the projects department
    • Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently
    • Providing direction and support to all departments
    • Developing KPIs for projects department
    • Delegating work to projects team and managing their workload and output
    • Traveling to on-site inspections and project managing events
    • Pre and Post-event evaluation (including data entry and analysis and producing reports for event stakeholders
