Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator (MC) plays a critical role in assisting in the management of marketing and advertising for The Greenhouse Studio as well as the production of events and handling of client projects and accounts. The MC supports the Marketing and Events Manager (MEM) and the Managing Director (MD) in taking steps to measure, enhance, and enrich the position and image of the Studio through various goals and objectives by developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for the Studio and its lines of business, products and brands in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones through relationship-building, quality outputs and excellent customer service.

The MC must have good verbal and written communication skills, creative problem-solving skills, presentation skills, organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a stressful environment, whilst having knowledge and some experience in Marketing, Advertising, Customer Service and Corporate Events Planning.

Typical work activities
  1. Assisting with the marketing, advertising and promotions of The Greenhouse Studio
  • Preparing marketing strategies alongside other Studio executives and staff
  • Analysing market trends and recommending changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback
  • Adhering to marketing budgets
  • Coordinating the creation and delivery of the Studio’s press releases, advertisements, portfolios, e-newsletters, website and other marketing materials and publications with the MEM and MCD
  • Gathering and analysing customer insight via a consistent feedback process thereby driving overall CRM and direct marketing
  • Engaging consumers on social media
  • Deepening relationships with all media to ensure the most effective messaging and positioning of the Studio
  • Managing areas of content generation and production across all media platforms
  • Consulting with the team on product specifications such as design, color, and packaging.

2. Managing projects and client accounts

  • Helping to secure new business by meeting clients and developing project proposals and quotes
  • Assisting the MCD and MEM in client and account management
  • Meeting clients for briefings and present proposals to clients for approval
  • Negotiating time-scales and budgets
  • Researching clients’ products, services, plans, competitors and target markets
  • Liaising with the team, partners and suppliers for the timely submission of all project deliverables
  • Monitoring work progress and keeping in contact with clients at all stages
  • Responding to clients’ requests as they arise
  • Delivering final products for review
  • Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Keeping records and handling invoices
  1. Coordinating the events team in the development and production of events from proposal to delivery
  • Researching markets to identify opportunities for events
  • Liaising with clients to ascertain their precise event requirements
  • Producing detailed proposals for events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing and budgets)
  • Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet  and exceed expectations
  • Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
  • Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships
  • Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently
  • Providing direction and support to the events team
  • Delegating work to events staff and managing their workload and output
  • Travelling to on-site inspections and project managing events
  • Being responsible for all project budgets from start to finish
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery
  • Post-event evaluation (including data entry and analysis and producing reports for event stakeholders).
